Nathaniel Caauwe

My dad got me into photography at a young age, teaching me how to shoot with an SLR from the beginning. A keen interest in the technical side as well as a love of cinema (also thanks to my dad) led me into compositing and visual effects, where I have worked mostly as a rotoscope and paint artist for several years.

I continue to enjoy photography and in recent years have been able to utilize it in new ways as I've begun traveling to India, where I spend time with Dalit children. These students are the first generation of Dalit to have the opportunity of gaining a quality English-medium education. I am currently directing a documentary on the subject.
